Beautiful setting with fantastic view of Luzern

Just awful! Arrived in the dark so drove hours to find it ....very, very secluded. Finally, a most kind local physically accompanied us there. The only place in all of Switzerland that we visited that was not clean. Room had ceiling light only… No lamps, no clock. Reeked of cigarette smoke. Bath room had a couple of miss-matched raggedy towels that I would use only for rags in my home. Had to leave early in the morning about 7 o'clock. Was told to leave key on reception desk. Not even a coffee offered.

Fantastic hotel!!! Beautiful view of the city and Lake Lucerne, felt like you were right up the mountain even though you were at the base. Very good food and drinks and a great patio to enjoy both on! Staff was super friendly and helpful

Positive: I enjoyed the view over the city of Luzern. Negative: The heating of the room did not work. The shower hose was broken. All breakfast cups were badly washed with leftover cereal. Employees do not know the word professionalism. Although the price is not high, the conditions are bad.

Disgusting hotel with an unfriendly staff. Walked in the room and left, would pay double the price to not encounter the unprofessional staff again. Smug attitudes, garbage under the bed, holes in the sheets, hole in the wall with a napkin stuffed in it (at least somewhat of an attempt was made) ripped stiff towels, broken champagne bottle in the fridge (really?) It was literally fermenting pooled at the bottom of the fridge....I thought it was a joke. The staff was staring at us from the balcony smoking while we were grabbing luggage. Reminded me of The Shining. NEVER AGAIN.

very hard to get there, but it is worth. surrounded by nature, calm and cozy. most of all, you can see many, many stars at night. it's gorgeous!

I can’t wait to travel again to Swiss and stay here with the most beautiful view. Wifi is very bad and it was first time I was unplugged from social media and got to enjoy myself alone

Friendly staff, rooms are clean, but bed is small and sagged. Nice view, but exterior is outdated and could use a little paint. Clean private bathroom with really nice shower. Price/quality fits.
