This store has a market stall at various weekly markets (Thursdays Hackescher Markt, Saturdays Kollwitzplatz) - that is how I learned this store exists. A gift from heaven for lovers of dried chili peppers! Caynenne, Bird's Eye, simple Paprika, smoked Chili, Carolina Reaper, Bih Jolokia, simple Habanero, Chipotle and plain Japapenos. Oh my. I came here specifically to get pounds worth of of Birds Eye and smoked Anchos, and wasn't disappointed. The market stalls have teensy bags of 10g or less, but planning to cook enough chili sauce for all my friends I needed to come here and buy a full bag of things, which wasn't a problem. If you know the pfefferhaus, you'll know you need Kräuter Mian to complement that. (Hint, if you need kilograms do call them before you go.) Needless to say, it appears that _all the spices_ can be bought here, and even though I did not need much service, the staff is super friendly and seems to know their stuff.

I live close by therefore my review is super significant! :D - the herbs, teas, seeds and even utensils are of high quality. Not to mention, the staff is friendly, patient and forthcoming to no end. If you ever find yourself curious about herbs and their origins this is your Mekka. It's like a pharmacy of herbs.
My favourite spice vendor at weekly markets has a physical store! They have the best selection of peppercorns and spice blends, and my favourite salt. Plus all the standard stuff and lots of different kinds of tea
