It wrongly appears as the closest emergency room from Kihei. Maui Medical Center is actually the closest emergency room. Kula Hospital cannot handle everything, for example a heart attack. They only have 2 beds. It is actually a nursing home and recovery center. There are only 2 beds for the easy, quick treatment. Major events they stabilize and send to Maui Medical Center. I gave 5 stars because the people were nice. We came for an infected coral scrap and that was able to be treated, but it is almost an hour from Kihei.
