We were 8 of us who visited this place for dinner. The place holds good for a traditional and authentic costal food. Great fish, chicken, rice among other dishes. Service is great. Place is run by brother who are very welcoming and strictly follow professionalism. This place would be a great choice if you happen to stop by Kumta.

Travelled all the way from Gokarn to this so called restaurant in Kumta after reading the reviews (all of which are fake ..please don't trust them). The owner Raghavendra is extremely rude. Our order was delayed by more than 45 minutes though they were only 2 other customers. Apparently their cook had disappeared from the kitchen and they were scrambling here and there to give dishes to the table. We ordered their masala fry and rava fry. both were very salty. when we enquired with the owner Raghavendra he says their preparation is like this only. we paid the full amount. extremely dissatisfied with their food and would not recommend this seafood restaurant to anyone.pls avoid it at any cost

This eatery I got to know by only through G maps and I really have to say I was genuinely satisfied by the experience and food I got here.The price is reasonable and all the items like fish chicken and veg were also good.My only query is that they could have given an option for boiled rice rest all is good for the price they ask.And also make place for parking spot we had to search for as there was no parking space nearby.

this restaurant is not clean at all. brought biryani for my guests after seeing the reviews on google. i was so ashamed when my guest found a cockroach insect in the biryani. YUCK!! please see the photo and decide for yourself. PLS AVOID MOONLIGHT HOTEL

Delicious seafood, one of the best places to eat in Kumta. Prices are very reasonable and service is quick. Enjoyed some nice squid, king fish, baby shark, shrimp along with akki roti. Address is incorrectly mentioned while guiding. This hotel is located in the main market area, beside Mahalasa temple.

If you want to eat the best seafood in Kumta town then Hotel Moonlight is the place. Run by 2 siblings this place is always packed and one needs to wait for a bit to find a table. Our group of 7 friends thoroughly enjoyed the dinner ... Chicken biryani was delicious, masala fry was out of the world and squid rava fry too was lip smacking

What an awesome lunch we had at Hotel Moonlight, Kumta. Wonderfully prepared fish fry and fish curry. We also tried their famous pomfret masala fry and mori sukka. I'd love to come back at this wonderful restaurant when I'm in Kumta again
