Love it!! I started here as a beginner, I was so impressed with the quality of the lessons from the teacher in both the adult classes and the children's classes. John Tomlin is dedicated and passionate about his martial arts, with 20 years experience he is the perfect teacher. I enjoyed it so much that I have now trained through the Kung Fu Schools organization as a children's instructor here in Hastings. I love my new life skill and highly recommend it to other parents who want to teach their children how to be confident in their own individual abilities through positive encouragement. My family train here too so that we can build on our training together and encourage one other. The first 4 weeks are a free trial which gives adults and children the chance to see if they like it or not and the price after that is affordable. So join today or just come and try it out for yourself.

Very highly recommended Wing Chun classes. I have tried other (Wing Chun and various other martial arts) classes before and found these to be of a really high standard. The environment is very welcoming and friendly, whilst retaining an excellent level of professional care and practical application. The school comes from an old lineage, and head instructor John Tomlin has a huge amount of passion for his discipline as well as a wide range of martial art experience over many years. He always welcomes and encourages questions of any kind about the training and its application in real life situations, and he often adds in scenarios from other fighting disciplines which keeps the classes really interesting and also fighting realistic. Assistant instructor Sam Hallam adds another dimension to the feeling of being in great hands - she is incredibly passionate about Wing Chun, absolutely full of positivity and enthusiasm and good tips, and I always leave a class feeling energised and excited about what I have learned. An emphasis on practical defence methods and the possibility of training as hard or as soft as you feel, completes the excellent balance that these classes maintain.
