Merchandise is organized, clean, but doesn't detract from the value of it having value. The only problem the day I visited was the buyers weren't digging into their pockets deep enough to purchase what looked like good deals.

A reliable, honest auction house. We've bought many items here over the years, and Shirk's also conducted an inventory reduction auction for us, with excellent results. Quick payment to consignors, great advertising, well organized and efficient. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Disappointed. My mother’s furniture that we did send to auction weren’t the antiques, and I was told honestly that she wouldn’t get what those items were worth. However, solid oak, well made, furniture went for pennies on the dollar. I have photos of auction attendees walking on the area rugs, sleeping in her wing back chair. I was in tears. Post your estate items on Let Go or FB Marketplace. I believe even Craigslist would’ve been a better fit. The auctioneer made more money than my father did. I’m saddened to see that furniture I grew up with for 30 years was treated so disrespectfully. The mover snapped off the dowel that holds the leaves in place on her solid oak dining table that seats 8. I understand it’s the bid, the demand of an item by attendees. Although, a minimum should be expected or unsold items returned to the family. It took 30 days for check to arrive, when we were told it would be 10 days.
