Loved the atmosphere and the food is excellent. We had the taster menu with paired sake and it was a great choice. My favourite was the chicken teriyaki. Everything that's tempura there is incredible!

Amazing, delicious and varied Japanese menu. Staff were really nice and helpful with the menu. Good range of sake too and the owner was friendly and genuine. One of the best Japanese restaurants we’ve visited

Excellent food and excellent service, authentic Japanese food cooked by family members. Using local ingredients with subtle flavours which enhances one another. Truly a taste of Japan. Gourmet set menu is worth trying for something from the generic sushi chains. Definitely will return again, even the 60 mins drive was worth it.

The best sushi I've ever had - and the best restaurant meal I've ever had in the UK! Yes its a little pricey but you get what you pay for... the detail in everything is incredible. Every dish comes with a specific dipping sauce, and they always go so well together. Everything I ate was outstanding - deep fried dishes are light and flavourful, and sashimi is of clear quality. Service is excellent also - definitely go here for any occasion!

Had a pleasant experience with friendly customer service. We shared the taste of Japan for 2 and gourmet set menu for 2 and shared between 4 of us. The variety of tastes and textures was large making the menu very balanced; the scallops are incredibly tender with a butter like consistency. There were maybe only one or 2 dishes that I would consider underwhelming but I would say that's down to preference. In terms of dessert, the ice cream mochi was subtle and smooth
