Huppendorfer is a Franconian Legend and if you ever get a chance to go there, by all means, do it. I've been here three times and can say, it's one brewery I'll return to again and again. Had a mixed meat plate with their class Vollbier the first time and then lucked out as they had their Hellerbock on tap. That is one heavenly brew. We were glad to be spending the night in their very great value rooms above the pub. Stopped on the way home in the snow one year on a Sunday so got a chance to sample their amazing roast dinners. My wife had duck breast and I had Lamb Knuckle and both were incredible. Most recently, I walked about 25 km from the Aufseß valley on an amazing trail and finally got to sit in their bustling Biergarten. I had the half chicken and their season Export Bier, both were a perfect end to a tough but rewarding day. Lots of seasonals so lots of reasons to go back.

Ich bin begeistert. Der Service ist erstklassig. Genauso wie das Essen. Erstmal wurden Tische und Bänke komplett desinfiziert, der Hund bekam sofort Wasser an den Tisch und die Vesperplatte war ausgezeichnet, vor allem weil man sie mit richtig Appetit essen kann, da die Wurst von den eigenen Schweinen kommt. Würden wir morgen nicht nach Hause fahren, wären wir bestimmt Stammgäste geworden.
Nicht nur ganz tolles ehrliches Bier (alle Sorten) Sondern tolle fränkische Küche ein passender Biergarten und sehr nettes Personal auch im Service. Immer wieder kehren wir hier gerne ein! Zu Hause schmeckt übrigens das Vollbier auch sehr gut aber im Biergarten noch ein weng besser. Weiter so Ihr Lieben Ihr macht alles richtig.
Klasse Bier und sehr guter Brauereigasthof ... echt fränkische Gemütlichkeit
