We live nearby so we came to this tea room that is advertised as one of the oldest tea houses in CPH. It's a lovely place for evening high tea. We got the set that offers scones, finger sandwiches, petit four cakes and a pot of tea. We chose White Temple tea. It was delightful and fruity! Very refreshing! The waitress was really helpful and friendly. The scones were delicious, crispy on the outside and soft inside. They gave clotted cream, raspberry jam and lemon curd. I love, love the lemon curd! It's so refreshing and rich! You can buy teabags and other assortments at the cashier before leaving. Definitely recommended to visit !

Wonderful gem of a spot. Friendly service, delicious tea, sandwiches and cake. Perfect spot to relax (especially on a rainy day). Tea was (of course) perfect - brewed with boiling hot water and steeped with a timer.

A true Copenhagen classic for tea and scones. The clotted cream and lemoncurd are to die for. The atmosphere has so much history and it is just perfect for relaxing after an exhausting jaunt around Strøget.

I haven’t tried my tea yet but am excited to. The shop is so cute. And smells fantastic. It’s small but they have an amazing selection of teas and other treats.

Quintessential “hygge” if there ever was a “hygge” tea-house - this would be it. This unique tea shop has been open since 1835 and boasts tea imports from all over the world! My recommendation would be to make a reservation and have tea (on the 2nd floor) first, that way you can try out a couple of different varieties before you purchase. The afternoon tea we enjoyed was delicious and staff was super friendly. You get to choose your own tea and cute little teapot. I would recommend splurging and adding the cremant (sparkling wine). One tip is to make sure you bring your appetite as the tea service is plentiful! After your tea, checkout their gift shop before you visit the tea shop downstairs as they have a lot more room and selection in the gift shop area. Then finally, visit the tea shop! Beware as this tea shop is very popular but small - so not a lot of people can fit in the shop at one time. Then pick your tea(s) and how much quantity you want of each. The tea helpers will weigh your tea, pour it into a package and note on your package what kind of tea is in there and how much. The old fashioned cash register is classic however they do take credit cards so no worries! If you are a tea lover, this is the place for you!

If you like fragrant black teas I recommend the Kronprinsesse Blanding (Crown Princess blend)
