Service maybe not always as friendly as it can be, like to favour the Danish guests. My son asked for a table (in English) and was told no. 1 minute later another of our party asked in Danish and was immediately offered a table. But the food is very good.

Guys, you need a reservation to seat indoors! It’s super crowded during lunch hours. Indoor seating provides a greater atmosphere. Settled for outdoor heated area. One of the nicest smørrebrød in the city! Generous with their serving too! Smoked salmon and the fried fish was awesome.

Important to know: This restaurant serves smørrebrød only! But they serve really good and delicious smørrebrød. You can either choose to get 1 brød with a certain topping (65-75 crones) or you can get a platter with different fresh toppings. (Minimum 2 persons, price 145-195 crones per person depending on the size of the platter) Location and view is pretty good Staff could be friendlier. But since I am from Berlin, Germany we have waiters with "Berliner Schnauze" which is pretty much the same kind of "coldness" with waiters ;)

Wonderfull view to the canal around the Slotsholm Island. Perfectly situated right across Christiansborg. Could be the best place in town, but the food and beer is quite ordinary.

Restaurant which serves only traditional Danish open sandwiches - smørrebrøds. Especially tasty smørrebrøds with herring and salmon. In warm period you can take a seat on the terrace on the channel and enjoy beautiful views.

Great smørrebrød, huge portions, great prices. I've come here several times and it's always great. Staff highly efficient, but not exactly welcoming during busy times.
