My favourite place to get bubbletea in Copenhagen. It’s just so much better than all the other places
Been here once Ive tried thier Milk tea Its really good . Want to go back again . Its close to the bus stop
Nice tea with a generous serving of pearls but it was sweetened so ended up being a little too sugary in taste for me. I expect that you could request your tea without syrup or sweetener but I didn't think to do this. They serve it without ice though which is nice. The actual shop and cups are adorable, so it's a nice atmosphere if you plan to sit and drink your tea. The staff were also very friendly and efficient, much quicker than the other bubble tea places I visited in Copenhagen. A follow up to my review above, I recently returned to this store and ordered my tea without sugar and it was perfect. Really flavoursome, plus all the good points above. The staff were different but delightful yet again.
It’s a cute location, really sweet and friendly staff and the bubble tea tasted very nice. I also liked that they offer eco-friendly straws, (even though the general cup and packaging is of course still a lot of plastic), but it’s a small step. I just have one thing to criticize, but that one was kind of a big deal for me: when I went there the first time, I asked if they had soy milk or some other kind of plant based milk alternative. I was told by the employee that everything on the menu was vegan, except for two or three flavors that are made with honey. I was super excited about that and ordered a classic “milk” tea. I came to the store again a few weeks later and ordered a different flavor, again with “soy milk or whichever vegan milk it is you use”. The employee told me that they use lactosefree milk. As in, lactosefree cow’s milk. Thankfully I am not allergic to milk, because if I was, the false information of the first employee could have been dangerous. I think the employees should be better educated about the differences between those things, or ask if they’re not sure, instead of using terms as “vegan” so confidently when they actually don’t really know what it means. Just a head’s up for the people who don’t want to consume cow’s milk for whichever reason - they don’t seem to have any other option than the lactosefree milk, so be sure to ask more specifically when they tell you something is vegan.
We bought one bubble tea this afternoon, I must say I was quite shocked when I saw the guy just use his hand without any gloves to touch the ice cube and then put the ice cube directly into my cup! Especially he just made my order! Two working people no one wear masks! One of the other female staff just brought the used cups back to the kitchen...I can imagine that she will not going to wash her hand before she places another order! I will hope that my son is not going to be sick! No more purchase!
Wow... So this is the the latest evidence that teenage brains aren't fully developed!? Owners must be laughing all the way to the bank. Weird texture, artificial flavours, and long line ups for selfie dementia. Sad to see what a young person seems to need nowadays.
I absolutely love Mad Hatter ! It's been my go-to bubble tea café for many years, and they never fail to impress. Super nice staff and cute interior design!
