For me as a student a real financial disaster and I feel very badly treated by this garage!!! I am from Germany and spend currently a semester abroad in Kalmar. For a day trip I went to the north of Öland and had a breakdown there (the car did not start anymore, and I could not drive on). Fortunately, friends in another car were able to tow me to the nearest garage (Högby Bil & Mekaniska Verkstad AB). Here they promised me help and told me directly, it would probably be the battery (we had previously tried to bridge the car, but that did not work). They built me for 2316 SEK (about 230 euros) a new battery and filled up on oil - and told me the battery was broken and the “bypass” would not have worked, because we would have taken a too old cable. Now I wanted to drive back to Kalmar, when I could not give gas after about 75km (just before the bridge to Kalmar) and the car finally went out completely. This time I was alone and could just carry the car to the side-strip. This time, I must get towed and taken to the next car garage (1500 SEK / 150 Euro towing costs) - still on Öland. There I am told after a short time that it is most likely the generator for the battery (and always was) and the battery itself was never broken (but just empty, because it could not be loaded). This guess was confirmed the next day after a detailed inspection and cost me another 3920 SEK (about 392 Euros). I contacted the Högby Bil & Mekaniska Verstad in Löttorp/Högby, but they were not aware of any guilt and did not want to meet me in any way. For me as a student a real financial disaster and I feel very badly treated by this garage!!!

Tända lampor, besök verkstad. Inte roligt när man är på semester. Var inget större problem, löstes på ett trevligt och proffsigt sätt. Så här borde alla serviceställen vara. Blå Peugeot.

När bilen strulade på vår Ölandsresa så fick vi lite smått panik. Småbarn och 30 grader varmt. Inga problem alls. Vi fick hjälp samma dag. Bilen undersöktes och allt gick jättesmidigt. Trevlig och glad personal som verkligen ställde upp och bjöd till det lilla extra. Problemen åtgärdades tillomed utan att vår sovande tvååriga son ens vaknade i baksätet. Varma rekommendationer och många tack från två mycket nöjda småbarnsföräldrar.
