Amazing place, gives another perspective of the city and really delves into the history of Ronda, came here last year and was breathtaken by the views of the canyon and the city above. It is quite a trek going up and down all the steps but well worth it for the result. The entrance to the mine is very grand and have a beautiful garden you can walk around, very close to hotels and many other facilities the city offers

This is a small palace that is not open to visitors, with a very nice little garden and a very interesting water mine. It was through the water mine that the city was liberated from the Moors. Prepare for a great descent and ascent if you want to reach the mine itself.

This is an interesting part of Ronda's history, and the stairs down to the water mines are quite cool. However mind that the surrounding villa called the Moorish King castle had never been a residence of the Moorish King but was created as a villa in the 19th century, so it's a bit of a rip off. Still cool to go down the water mines, so recommended to do it!

The place is absolutely fantastic ! Have some of the most beautiful photos I made in Ronda- thaw you need to be sporty to go down and up the stairs till the blue hole and back. There is no elevator / escalator so people with disabilities and small kids can’t really do it. There is about 350 stairs to go down / climb back up but keep in mind they are all of different size and shape:) The thing is really sad is the fact that the palace itself is falling apart and it seems there is no intention of rebuilding it... it’s sad to see such a treasure being lost....

Fantastic!! Well worth the 5 each entrance fee and the long climb down the steps to the river at the bottom. The views at the bottom are surreal and the water is such a lovely colour. Such a shame that something so beautiful now was a place of hard work and tortuous conditions years ago when the slaves brought water up to the town.
