Whilst I appreciate your Michelin rating, we popped in at lunchtime for a drink with the intention of booking a table for the evening. Our drinks order was fulfilled. On requiring where we could sit we were told that seating was only for diners. Fair enough but there were only 3 diners at the time. We stood and decided we would not dine there! October 2019!!!

One of the most marvellous, if not even the most delicous Restaurants at Northern Spain, with a 1st class kitchen*****, beautiful sight and - and a Gin Sommelier who offers not less than 160 sorts of Gin. Also the lounge is adorable, offering an incredible panoramic view over the bay, especially at sunset! Best greetings to Manuel, his wife and their staff!!!!! At the weekend youll meet the most illoustrious people from Galicia here, e.g. the estrellas from \Deporivo La Coruna\!

I get so excited when I tell people about this place. The journey to it, its location and the wonderful host, food, music and wine that awaits is extraordinary. Some of us travelled by motorcycle from SE France and the UK and were recommended to try Mar de Ardora by a girl in Pamplona. When we arrived we were immediately made to feel welcome by the Galician owner and chef who had worked for many years in London. He made me scrambled eggs with scallops and melba toast which were divine on the terrace with a glass of local white wine. I followed that with some locally caught fish cooked in the Gallega style (slow baked with tomatoes). I was unable to return this last time but some friends left me in Oviedo and continued to the Costa del Muerte, including this place. They were not disappointed!
