Tonight we experienced La Gallega for the first time & not the last time. Simply amazing! We dined on the outdoor side patio. It's like Augustine, owner, invited us to his home. Tapas, cocktails & service outstanding. Highly recommend. ¡Gracias Augustine! Try Carmen's Cafe Versalles across street.

What a wonderful surprise for lunch today in the Versailles neighborhood! So pretty inside and a tapas menu of small delights. We had peppers and croquettes. The owner is from the galacian area of Spain and plans the menus We plan on returning again for dinner soon.
A must stop in Versalles...like being invited into someone's home. Small and charming, this restaurant offers a great choice of cocktails and small plates featuring Spanish cuisine. We tried 2 Gin tonic cocktails and found them refreshing for the early evening heat. These were large with plenty of mint and limon. David then had a mezcal-based cocktail with grapefruit which he loved. We decided to try a number of tapas and were pleased with the choices: we started with toasts and different toppings including brie, carmelized onion and goat cheese, and then bacon with brie. Then came the tapas selections: octopus on potato, mussels swimming in olive oil, ensalada fresca (strawberry with goat cheese, prosciutto, and fig, and calamari with a delicious strawberry dipping sauce - makes me never want to go back to cocktail sauce again! These all tasted so good, we added an order of croquettes which were delicious. Wr got so excited when each course was served that we didn't take any pictures of the food! Both waiters were very good at pacing the arrival of each dish, and made sure we were satisfied with our choices, even recommending a couple which added to the perfect meal. The fun of exploring these delicious dinners was enhanced by owner Augustin. He wanted our opinions and shared his passion for his baby - La Gallega. Prices are very reasonable: 60 for two rounds of (generous-size) cocktails, all the tapas selections mentioned above, and a dessert of refried milk ( just wait until you try it!). We are two big guys but we felt very satisfied at the end of this meal. Not only with the food but the entire experience!
The service was amazing, the atmosphere delightful and the staff knowledgeable and very helpful. All protocols adhered to for safety and comfort. Highly recommend
If you want a Authentic Galician topas, this is the place. Not that good of a Margarita, but this place is pretty cool.
Terrific dinner experience in Versailles neighborhood. My wife Lisa and I loved this little gem. The food is honest and tasty. Nothing pretentious just fun and fresh Spanish food from Galicia region. The owner Augustin is super friendly and caring. He makes sure that you are happy and full when you leave. Also the mezcal based cocktails especially the grapefruit, Campari one is outstanding.
Phenomenal!!!! Los cocteles y la comida fueron deliciosos, comida de la región de Galicia. Agustín, el dueño es muy amable. Recomiendo mucho esta joya!! The food and cocktails were delicious, the mezcal, cardamom and pineapple cocktail was the best I’ve had in all of Mexico. The food is traditional Galician food from this region of Spain. The service is outstanding and Agustin the owner is so friendly! I highly recommend this gem!!
If you are in Puerto Vallarta going to this new restaurant is a MUST!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA, if you wanna try something totally different in front of the pacific ocean this is your place...
