This is my favorite beach in San Diego. The shore break makes for perfect waves to body surface but it’s all shore break so be careful. I had a very good friend pass away at this beach. May he Rest In Peace. The locals here can try to act tough if you allow them, especially while surfing. Just have good etiquette and respect and you will be fine. This is a hidden gem to many people in San Diego. In the summer time you can rub shoulders with people from all around the globe. I saved a girl from Italy from drowning here several years ago. Always remember to ride the waves in (go with the flow) and never panic if you get in over your head. The shore drops fast here, hence the shore break. Enjoy the beauty of this beach and respect it.

Usually, It's very crowded here. Good luck finding a parking space during the weekends! The beach itself is fantastic for the ones in love with water and water sports. Nice place to people watch too. It's illegal to drink on the beach and it is enforced. So, keep your beer cans at home guys!

One of my favorite beaches in San Diego, especially at low tide and good waves.

After you go past wind and sea location, there's only the shores. Then it's torrey pines beach on the north end. But for surfing it's wind n sea, and north torrey are really the best spots.
