Wow we took the table dhote menu and yes for 56 at the time was amazing started with emu tartare followed by steak with blue cheese then finished with creme brûlée certainly worth the reservation and the view from here of the st Laurence river. Staff very friendly and professional and due to the current circumstances staff work hard and have to deal with a lot. Certainly would happily return for another great meal

Our family lunch on the terrace was just splendid! We were there first customers on the reopening day post Covid-19. The whole Hotel site is safe and the staff was very welcoming, albeit their obligation to wear a mask and distanciation. Four of us ordered the hamburger and it was just fantastic and the portion is bigger than most people need. The kids really liked the view on the river and the sound of the waves. We will definitely stop by this restaurant next time we are in the region.

Good service. Food isn’t representative of the price whatsoever . 38 sirloin steak with blue cheese completely overpowering the meat. Fries were not that warm and were so hard I barely had any. The second star is for the good service. Don’t waste your money here. Get ubereats, I’m sure you’ll be more satisfied. You’d expect significantly better from fairmount.

Thoroughly disappointed. This restaurant is not what you expect when staying at a Fairmont. The starters were unimpressive, and we had to send 3 plates of risotto back to the kitchen because it simply wasn't cooked, it literally crunched under the tooth. On top of that the menu was expensive and frankly a rip off. For the Table Hote (which includes starter main course and desert) most of the combinations of the a la carte items came out cheaper on their own than if you got the table d'hote. And the prices were already too high to start with. Furthermore the decor is frankly dated and probably hasn't been updated since the 80s. And finally the wine list was nothing to write home about.

Very nice environment, great service, food prices are really overpriced for the quality. Couldn’t even swallow the “foie gras”. But because of the great service they gave me a nice big plate of cold cuts instead and I thank the waitress for her hospitality! But still not worth 170 for two people.

La qualité de l'entrée et du plat principal était presque un 5 étoiles. J'ai mangé le tartare d'émeu en premier service, suivi du saumon fumé. Présentation très simple, mais tout de même extrêmement savoureux. La sauce du saumon était superbe et la cuisson parfaite. Le dessert - le gâteau au fromage - était bien, sans plus. Le service était un 4 étoiles. Mon serveur- Rémi - était très agréable, disponible et m'a offert un vin au verre qui n'était pas disponible sur la carte - et à très bon prix. Par contre, les plats arrivaient à table sans explication et la carte des vins est presque vide et n'est pas digne d'un restaurant de ce calibre. Néanmoins, j'ai été bien accueilli et bien servi tout au long du souper. Considérant les circonstances actuelles de la restauration (pandémie, manque de staff, heures supplémentaires des employés/cadres,) je recommande fortement.

Assez bon pas trop chaud mais gourmand , je parle pour le buffet , j'ai aimé ça le service du serveur très sympathique et courtois vraiment serviable , service très rapide , tu te remplis vraiment le ventre a manger du buffet ... bon pour un groupe , je donne 4 , c'est sur que je reviendrai l'année prochaine parce qu'on étais en visite donc ça aide bons desserts un gros choix surtout ceux au chocolat , merci de m'avoir lu !
