Always loved the food at La Mama so was happy to try their takeaway service recently, with dishes to reheat at home. The menu is smaller but there's still plenty of choice. We chose the deal for 25 - 3 main dishes, a potato dish, and bread or olives. The instructions for reheating were easy to follow and the food (as usual) was delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous food, great service and atmosphere. Would recommend booking especially later in the evening as it gets busy. We were evening eaters and child free (for a change) but they do cater for children and have special offers for them late afternoon early evening. The flavours were great, all the tomato bases had their own little twist. The only slightly disappointing dish was the aubergine which seemed to be more cheese than egg plant, still yummy. Also order some bread as you'll want to sop up all the lovely sauces! The lamb was tender and the sauce rich, my mouth is watering just typing about it. Another thing I liked was that water was on the table already, in a refill bottle, so no worrying about sounding like a cheapskate asking for tap water. (I hate paying for overpriced water) the cocktails are well worth sampling!
We couldn't get together as a group (5 couples), so we did a zoom meal. La mamas set us up with 5 meals (even tailored them to individual tastes) and a great bottle of wine. Bagged them all up with named bags. Even helped carry them to the car. When we got home the food had all the instructions and it tasted fantastic. This is the second time we've had food to take home. Really appreciate La Mamas, and when we call all get in together we will be there. Thanks Mark

I forgot to take a picture of the food as it looked so nice, I couldn't wait to tuck in to it. Great service and very authentic.
