Sad to say Chopes is closed ️This is the best place for Chile Rellenos but has evidently been affected by Covid. Talked to the postal employee across the street and she said they closed a year ago but hope to reopen. Fingers crossed that they will but call first.

The best Tacos I have ever eaten. My husband has always raved about this place. But this was my first time eating here. My husband ordered Chile Rellenos I tasted a little of his. It was Awesome. PERFECTLY SEASONED. This is a place where the locals frequent. But if you are visiting or passing through the area, it is worth stopping by for Lunch and or dinner. We will certainly be back next time we're in town We live in the Phoenix Arizona area. I highly recommend this place.
Fantastic watering hole with great service and cold drinks! After Happy Hour, step over to the Cafe for a delicious authentic southwestern food order! The enchiladas can’t be beat! I can’t wait to get back!!! Save me a seat.
This place is very good. I tried the tacos and enchiladas. Good portions and delicious food. I will be returning.
Pretty good food. Better than a lot of restaurants in the area. 1.00 Tacos on Tuesday. Super busy and crowded for taco Tuesday be prepared to wait up to an hour to be seated.
LOVE this place. I did not think I liked Thai until I had Carlson's. Perfectly cooked chicken and just right amount of spice.Donuts are the best in town day or nightCarry out is always fresh and accurate
Food was great. Was told I had to check this place out for the rellenos and some New Mexico mexican food. It did not disappoint, loved the spice it all had. Wish I could of bought some of the salsa to take back to VA with me.
This is an oasis destination restaurant in an out of the way location. Everyone in Las Cruces said we should stop there when we said we were going to El Paso via highway 28. We stopped there to have lunch. For me, I found the food good but not great. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Service was very good.
