This is our favorite area library. There always seems to be parking and it's never very crowded. It's also spacious with plenty of seating and a wonderful children's area. There are lots of CDs and movies to borrow as well. As a bonus, this library is adjacent to the post office, public transit and a variety of small stores. Plus, inside the entrance, there's a used battery receptacle for recycling! Thank you!

Very clean, lots of natural and artificial light, organized with a pastel color scheme. Bathrooms are maintained well and also has a baby changing station in the mens room. Staff is polite and helpful. Security is present, and their children's discovery zone is a great bonus. Computers, Wifi and new release movie rentals. Had a fun and productive time.

I love this library. I read many complaints about the noise, especially the little children. I am proud of the young families, who come here, and get books, who engage their small children, with story time, instead of letting their computer devices, baby-sit their children. This group of babies are learning, at a very young age, the value of reading a good book. If you are looking for \peace and quiet\, take your book home. The La Mesa branch County Library is for the future, of reading. And I personally thank the young parents, for instilling, at an early age, the joy of a good book.

Came for the Andy Warhol tween art workshop. Kids had a blast, and took home some pretty decent art!
