We ended up getting excellent customer service from the decking person, Matt, and for that I am very thankful. Price is higher that big box stores unfortunately to a point of not using them. They need to update their website as well.

They will take the time to walk you through the entire process. Not only that, if they don't stock it, they can get it. Fast! In today's era of big box stores, La Mesa lumber is a gem. They are the ONLY place I buy wood. I highly recommend this shop.
