I thoroughly appreciate the majorally gated play structure area. Tables are spread out a bit. Plenty of shade offering trees. It's an uphill struggle from the parking lot. Boys and girls club right next door. No swings.

Our favorite playground in the area. The rubber flooring is old but it beats other playgrounds that have sand and wood chips that make a mess.
I live here. Don't you all wish you did? Beaches, valleys, mountains, high desert and regular desert -- multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and sunshine to boot. If you want touristy things, we have you covered. BUT you get to appreciate the wonder of this area more on long drives to our cliffs, mountain overviews. Get out of the car and take a deep breath. Enjoy the sights and smells. You will be the better for it.
