Disappointing and physically painful! Vons in La Mesa Springs has no disabled shopping carts. Went to Vons near SDSU and their one disabled shopping cart was just stolen. I filled a basket and then waited 15 minutes for somebody to unlock a liquor cabinet pushing a call button 3 times at 5 minute intervals and having a clerk from the deli counter and clerk in produce both call overhead for someone to help me. The third employee I flagged down was able to go get a key and promptly return. Unfortunately when she walked me toward the registers what had been a 4-5 deep register line had grown to more than 15 customers. I couldn't physically stand on my feet that much longer. I asked the employee to put the Maker's Mark back as well as the other things in my cart and left the store empty handed. I drove to the Vons near Lake Murray which had 2 disabled carts but both were in use. I purchased a bottle of Maker's Mark, a Christmas Gift, and some sodas and that was it. I'm thinking hard about where to take the remainder of my shopping list tomorrow. Even Wal-Mart Neighborhood grocery has 4 disabled carts and they're a discount market and not full service. Why can't Vons protect their disabled carts from thieves?

Vons has the best store bought cookies! Go buy a pack of jumbo peanut butter cup cookies and find yourself in heaven! Vons also has delicious spicy chicken wings in their bakery section.

Good neighborhood market. Covid-19 precautions in place. Found the lighting to be a bit dark. Produce was fresh.
