Wine Storytelling

To be honest, we Asians love the grand architectures, those ancient chateaus in Bordeaux plain can effortlessly get us excited without even a sip of the wine. What happens if you're an artisanal producer and your wine is produced in a humble facility? The people and the vine will make the difference. At Alessandro Rivetto, we're lucky to have Alessandro walking us through the vineyard and explaining all the plain little practices in the vineyard. The tasting became so natural and enjoyable. A very good memory!

An absolutely fantastic experience. We stopped by unannounced, and were greeted warmly by Mauro, who then stopped what he was doing to take us through an extensive tasting. We sampled 8 wines, including premium Barolo wines - but it is worth noting that all wines we tried were amongst the best we have tried in Piedmonte (and beyond). Mauro was very kind and helpful, as well as thorough in his explanations about the wines. We left with several bottles and look forward to many more being shipped to us - thank you, Mauro!
