I had the best turkey sub-sandwich I have ever eaten. Having spend a weekend with my wife celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary In the Bayfield WI area, eating out was a necessity. Many places offered good food that most People would consider exceptional. As a self proclaimed foodie, few foods I have been honored to taste standout. The Turkey sub-sandwich is a standout. My only regret is not staying and trying other menu items. That will have to wait for another day.

Such a fun lunch spot on Madeline Island. Food was amazing - you could actually split a sub sandwich between 2 people they're so huge! The outside lawn was great if you have a pet along. Spotted cow on tap too!

I had the hot ham and mozzarella sandwich and it was delicious. It was rainy and there is no indoor seating so we had eat in our car but the food came out hot and fresh. Went back later for ice cream and it was yummy too!

Grandpa Tony’s treated us well for our stay on the Island. The first night we had ice cream which was excellent. As there aren’t too many restaurants on the island, we also tried them out for breakfast. With COVID-19 they had a limited menu so I had the breakfast burrito and my fiancé had the breakfast sandwich. The burrito was nothing special, but the sandwich was definitely the better of the 2. After coming back from hiking in Big Bay, Beach clubs kitchen was still closed so we opted for Grandpa Tony’s pizza. We just got a large pepperoni pizza, but it was the perfect after hiking meal! Overall a great spot to spend your money while on the island.

Simple but lovely. Good pizza and beer overlooking the lake.
