Diesel Fuel Maintenance provides Fuel Testing, Treating, Polishing/ Cleaning, and water removal for land based tanks, skid mounted generator tanks, under ground storage tanks, and heavy equiptment. We also provide fuel polishing/cleaning, treating, water removal and fuel disposals for Boats. The Nature of some boats and their fuel tanks makes them a challenge to achieve desired results. Fuel is accessed by removing the sending unit then cleaning/ polishing the fuel, or fuel disposals. In extreme cases when there is no other access to the fuel we can remove the fuel through the fuel lines. which does not always achieve the best results, but may be the only option. Boat tanks have limited access, baffles, and boats sometimes float in the water so that the low spot in the tank is still not accessable making some a challenge to achieve desired results. We strive to provide the best results for every customer and job.

Our company hired them to "clean" the fuel tank on a vessel because the engine was not running and the fuel had been in the talks for close to a year. So as a repair company the fuel tanks must be free of water and trash. They did, but failed to completely clean the fuel tanks leaving water and trash in the bottom of the tank, which ended up causing engine problems on the vessel. You would hope companies would stand behind what they were requested to do. This one did not. I did not have anything in writing; my mistake. I give them 1 star!... Make sure that if you use them you have everything spelled out to the letter in a written agreement. When I called them up and even sent photos of water and trash in the fuel they politely told me that I did not request the tanks to be cleaned but just to remove the fuel which cost me 300.
