As a customer for nearly 5 years we have never had issues with reliable wireless internet. Recently we were without service for 3 weeks and offered a 10 credit. What a joke. After multiple phone calls with customer service manager Ralph service was somehow miraculously restored...for 2 weeks. Again nothing is working and I’m not impressed with the overall product Surf Broadband has been putting out. Even when, and if, we can ever get service back through Surf, I do not recommend. UPDATE: After more phone calls with no real answer tech and customer support could only come up with frequency interference for a reason. They recommended we look elsewhere for service. With no other option, we canceled our service. However the coverage map still indicates service availability in our area. This company has been garbage since they bought out Freedom Net. Their customer service, timelessness, internal communication, and overall ability to troubleshoot issues is some of the worst and most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. Would rate a zero if I could.

We've been very happy with our new fiber services from Surf Broadband! The install was quick and painless, the technician was knowledgeable and courteous and got us all set up for faster internet. We're on the 50Mbps plan (up from 25 Mbps with Comcast Xfinity) and have noticed a considerable difference in our computer and TV usage -- much faster upload/download time and no issues with streaming shows or apps on multiple devices. I tether my iPhone to this connection while at home as well to save on mobile costs, haven't had any issues with connection or load times. Overall, very pleased with the speed and service of the Surf Broadband fiber plan!

New Service started 3 months after original estimate, then they didn’t turn our service on in the box at the road. Service call was cancelled but we weren’t notified so my husband stayed home from work for nothing. Then another 3 weeks before someone could come out. Finally service is up but out 3 times in the first week. Now I find out( was not revealed at sign up) that I have to pay 10 a month for the bridge device that I can buy for 80! If our one other source of internet wasn’t even worse than this I would cancel!

I recently moved from Boston Massachusetts to the area. Surf is the only provider for where I live. Believe me I have looked! I pay for the \Monster Wave\ package. Surf says that I will receive \up to 50mbs\. I cannot stream movies, play games on-line or download videos. We have three people working from home and we have to schedule zoom meetings around each other so we don't crash. My connection is an on going joke around the company. I just took a speed test I am at 14 up and 12 down. That is a far cry from 50 fifty I am paying for. I have called in and the customer service rep said he would reboot for me. We've tried this and it never fixes anything. Just gets me off the phone. I can see this tower, it's 400 yards from my house. I understand with everyone home how speeds can slow but take care of your customers. Don't promise me something and take my nearly 200 a month and not deliver and offer nothing in response because you know I have no place else to go. I'm in business to but I try to inject ethics into my business dealings. Surf knows they are charging full price but dot delivering what is paid for. But they obviosly don't care. This being said, customer service is great. Besides the wait to talk to them, there are no complaints about the people. The product you offer is subpar for the price you charge and the claims you make.
