My girlfriend and I battle opiate addiction and have went to the victory clinic in south bend (where we're from)to try getting off the opiates but left there more frustrated and discouraged than before. Now we go to Swanson and it's amazing. We are understood, heard, and not judged. People there believe in us and are willing to do anything to see us succeed So far we love it.

This place failed my daughter 3 times. 1st time failed was when went for they for consulation they said call back n never did in 2018. Took my daughter there in dec 2019 for sudical thoughts they told use to ho to St Anthonys because they had behoviral venter for teens. Yhey didnt. She went to Michiana Behavorial . Michiana released after week and sent documents to Swanson n told me they call nand never did. I took her to Porter Stark.

I went to the swanson center afraid I was going to get a doctor who wasn't going to listen to me, just prescribe pills, and send me on my way. BUT no, that is not what I got. I got a nice lady named Gloria, who , like me, is a dog lover and encouraged me to bring my dog in next appointment. I am excited to go back with my dog, not only because I can bring my dog with me, but because I liked her energy and responsive care to my woes and sorrows. Made me feel comfortable and at ease.

while i cant fully blame swanson center for being way too booked (there's a lack of supply for mental health/therapy in NWI and not a lot of options) i found it kind of ridiculous to wait a full month to 'see if i qualify' which had to be an appointment prior to therapy. after finding out im broke (not sure why we needed to schedule a month long awaited appointment for this), it was over a month wait to see a therapist. all in all it was about 3 months, start to finish. that kind of wait time for someone who is suffering with anxiety/depression/other issues in my opinion is not sufficient.

If you have Kelly Clark as your Dr you should read about the pills he gives you because he could kill you on the meds like latuda I have family with diabetes and before he puts any one on latuda you need a blood test done first but he don't care
