Great place for breakfast or afternoon break. Massive variety of baguette sandwiches, pastries, cakes. All looking fresh and the ones I tried tasting really good. Prices are reasonable compared to few other places. Helpful service and good amenities with seat inside.

If you go here you must try the quiche. Absolutely to die for. I only wish i could have brought loads back home. Our quiche here in England dosnt even compare!!! Im sure youve gathered i liked it. We had 3 days in La Rochelle and came here every morning for coffee, pain au chocolat & quiche. If i had had more time i would have eaten everything there !!!
Discovered a bit late during my week's stay, unfortunately. The BEST pain aux raisins and coffee around the port. Still hankering for them.
Two words ... nom nom! I was walking under the tower clock towards the shops, when suddenly in the corner of my eyes i caught its display... that was it... they had me right there. I loooove meringues... they have all flavours of meringue you can imagine... (drewl)... hahahaaa so ... i bought one of each of the ones i fancied! The choice of bakery goods here is immense, the breads smelled and looked delicious ... but the cakes... aaaah the cakes! If you have a sweet tooth or if youre a fellow foodie this is a must when visiting La Rochelle. It also helps that the staff were really nice and genuinely smiley.

We hebben hier heerlijke chausson aux pommes en meringue gekocht, echt een aanrader! Vooral de meringues vielen enorm in de smaak. Ze hebben ze in wel acht verschillende smaken.
J’y ai pris mon petit déjeuner 4 jours de suite. Le pain au chocolat et les muffins sont délicieux. L’accueil est très chaleureux et les habitués du coin y viennent chaque matin!
Des sandwiches qui font 1/4 de baguette, coupes bien en biais pour tromper l’œil. 2 sandwiches au thon saupoudrés de thon avec 1 feuille de salade, et fades en plus. Je valorise toujours les commerces de bouche mais là c’est trop gros. Je n’ai jamais mangé de sandwiches aussi peu garnis. J’aurais pris une baguette seule qu’elle aurait eu plus de goût. Gâteau tout aussi fade. Bien cher pour ce que vous mangez.
