Please do not pay any attention to the previous bad review this was not our experience with Casas in La Romana with Joan and Jose.We purchased a new build villa in Aspe one year ago through an agent and the whole experience from start to finish was handled professionally and friendly. We have been looking at properties in Spain for about a year now and at last found just what we were looking for. We also feel that we were lucky on our second visit to view properties to be guided by Joan and Toni from Casas in Espana. Although sadly the property that we were originally going to view had just sold, we were taken around about six similar properties within the same area. We were shown a cross section of properties from totally reformed to those that needed a little to a lot of work. We wanted a property that needed some work but was ready to move in and as I say we found the perfect one. The process of buying a property in Spain is quite different than that in the UK and it was at this time that we found the true value of being with Joan and her team. We gave Joan permission to organise everything from opening a bank account, buying currency and appointing a lawyer. Although we were a little apprehensive at first, the people Joan introduced us to were professional and supportive. The transaction went quite smoothly even though the Spanish Bank Holidays made it a little tricky at the time. Joan also had good rapport with the vendors which, I'm sure helped during quite an emotional moment at the notaries office. About eight weeks after agreeing to purchase the property, we had the keys. Thanks Joan and Toni for supporting us every step of the way. We would be happy to recommend you to anyone who would wish to purchase a property in the sun.

We totally disagree with the lady below we have been looking in Pinoso and La Romana to have a Villa built and we have visited several ot the show house Villas and met people who have had the property built by Casas In La Romana and the Villas are excellent and the office is very helpful..We have signed a contract with our lawyers and are more than happy to have our Villa built with Joan.
