I've been fortunate enough to be able to visit this gem of a location, nestled in the town of Lacombe a few times. One of my fondest memories here was a few years ago when the organization hosted a gingerbread house competition for the community, which my bestfriend and I attended. It brought people from all ages in to explore the history of the building and get together to make some fun and unique gingerbread houses. It was well organized, and you could really tell the staff cared for the history that the location has to offer. They were very knowledgeable and we all had such a great time! Thanks for all your efforts in preserving our provinces history and for helping keep communities together.

The museum and archives is a wealth of information about the Michener family, the City and County of Lacombe, as well as Western Canada!

We are incredibly fortunate to have these well maintained and cared for historical properties around our community. Great job on keeping this older home maintained and welcoming for all to visit!

They do such incredible programming at the Museum! Lacombe is so lucky to have this wonderful historic resource in the community!

It is becoming clear that the administration is deeply flawed. A terrible shame that such resources aren't cared for by professionals.

This is a very nice hidden gem! If you like history or even old architecture you definitely need to stop by! I loved how intact and original many of the historic items were! The staff were very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Keep it up!

Brought my mother through the museum a few weeks ago (her first time, my third) and it Presented life of pioneers excellently. The only thing was that the museum worker hovered over us the entire time and it was uncomfortable. The cute little red haired girl last summer was more tactful and was very informative
