Consistently impressed by the level of academics my youngest sister is required to achieve at LCA high school. Much of her required reading would be considered college level. I'm also impressed by the program which encourages critical thinking & has a focus on the classics. Add to that some great teachers, a huge campus, and a focus on faith & service... I consider it the best religious school in the region - for both Catholics & Protestant denominations.

I have gone to this school for four-ish years and it has probably been the best school I've gone to. Thanks LCA

As a graduate of LCS, and after having been in and around a number of different Christian high schools and colleges, both as a student and faculty member, I have found Laconia Christian to be one of the few Christian schools that recognize that quality academics are not just a side bonus for Christian schools, but rather, because Christianity is synonomous with a wholehearted pursuit of excellence, quality is at the core of being able to call yourself a \Christian\ school at all. By their development of a classical literature program, their implimentation of an intensive early ed. reading program, Advanced Placement courses, and their recruitment of well-qualified teachers from Pre-School to Senior High, it is obvious that the leadership team at LCS recognize that Christian schools, if they are to have that name, must be the very best academic institutions around.
