Charming congeniality, prompt service, and skilled efficiency. All of this is at Ladysmith FYI. I greatly appreciate the personal touch evident in attention to individual needs. FYI is a valued component of the Ladysmith community's professional reputation. A fine reason to stay local for eye care.

Friendly staff and excellent customer service. Although I'm not a patient (my parents are), I am extremely impressed by the care and commitment of the staff. And many thanks to Joan for accommodating my request to try and fix my father's glasses.

The staff at the Ladysmith FYI office have consistently gone above and beyond with there attention to detail and care for their clients. Dr. M. Greenaway has diagnosed problems with my eyes that could have been a greater problem had it not been spotted by him in a timely manner. I would rather have an overabundance of caution than under when it comes to my eyesight. Thank you to all at Ladysmith FYI for your service it is very much appreciated.

This location has to be working REALLY hard to be this incompetent. Two years ago ordered new glasses. After waiting two weeks, called to find out where they were and was told...."Ooops, forgot to order them" and "having issues with the lab". Waited almost three weeks for new glasses, which is 3x the wait I would have expereienced anywhere else. So, recently was gardening and damaged the hinge on one side so called to order just the replacement frames - ten days ago. Called today to find out status. No one can find the order, its always someone else who did it and they can't access their information (huh?....this is business, guys!). Oh, and they are still "having problems with the lab". Um....just frames folks, no lab involved. Bottom line is they apparently STILL haven't placed the order, and I am now told it will likely be another ten days before they receive it. My two experiences lead me to believe these folks are beyond unprofessional and really, really incompetent. Apologies don't cut it when there is still the mass confusion and disorganization two years later. Smart people learn from their mistakes - this smart person won't be repeating the mistake of doing business with this mess. Costco here I come. Update: Went online, found the exact frames (for about 40% of the FYI price), ordered them and was done - all within about 10 minutes. Expect to receive them tomorrow (2 days from order). What disturbed me the most was the total lack of concern/acknowledgement that their errors had caused me an additional ten days of inconvenience and headaches from wearing an old pair of glasses. Are these not supposed to be health care professionals? Why on earth would I trust my eyesight to people who cannot get a simple order right - twice in a row? Definitely left with the feeling that is the main concern, patient care/comfort/safety a very distant second.

Due to my unique eye challenges it's easy to distinguish a good optomistrist from a bad one. After asking a few questions to explore their quaility, according to every quality optomistrists I've seen over my 60 years of life, the options FYidoctors offered me would 100% lead to blindness. I would not trust these people with my eye sight even if they PAID ME - blindness is not something I would want in my future.

I recently had a great experience at the ladysmith and Nanaimo location. I'm so glad a chose FYI for my eye care. Was my first visit and they made me feel very welcome and everyone was very knowledgeable. I can't wait for my new glasses!
