Wow! What an amazing place with an amazing host. If you're looking for an off grid retreat, this is it. My partner, my dog and myself stayed in the stargate cabin and it was lovely. The wood stove kept us warm and the forest kept us nice and calm. This is a real forest, not the manicured version like in Gatineau park. There are downed trees and beaver lakes and stunning views. Our host, Steve, was very responsive to requests and was awesome to chat with. The trail map was detailed and accurate. We did a 2,5hr loop and that wasn't the whole place. There is so much to explore here. We will definitely be back.
