Great walk, about an hour there and back. Fantastic caves.

What a place! Do visit, go prepared for all weathers, walking boots recommended! Do read all advise about caving and potholing, and don't go into the caves unless prepared to do so, and in company with others. As always, when walking in the Highlands, let somebody know where you are going and when you intend to come back!
Nice walk to and around caves
Great wee walk to some caves along a river and beautiful scenic valley.
The walk on the way to the bone caves is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately we experienced it on quite adult day but even that did not take away the beauty. There are many caves if you look up to or right on the way to the main caves. The one cave has a hole big enough for a child to crawl in and come back out the other side. Really happy exploring this place and would highly recommend
Worth the walk from the small car park. The trail is quite steep and rocky in places so wear sensible shoes.
Probably a more challenging walk than most expect, suitable for most ages so long as you are careful and take your time. The caves aren't overwhelming but large enough to need a tourch to explore right to the back. Some bones might've added to the fun of getting there, even if just for a laugh.
This is a VERY long and difficult walk, not for the light-hearted. Google may say it's a 20min walk but it will probably take you about 40 - 60 minutes to get to the caves from the car park. However, it is an absolutely fascinating experience explore this near pristine landscape. You can basically substitute this walk for any hiking in the Highlands. I saw lots of people hiking along highways etc, but those routes are no way near as wild and interesting as the walk to the caves. It really gives you a sense of what wild Highlands are like. One thing though, is to beware of the gigantic slugs lying around everywhere.
