We enjoyed dinner here, Cullen Skink, smoked haddock and potato soup, was good and came with a roll, I had haggis, neeps and tatties which came with a dram of whisky, Adele had the lamb stovies with a glass of milk and oatcakes. Good honest Scottish fare from a simple menu. We had drinks to wash it all down too. Not a big place but service was very pleasant.

We had breakfast here on Sunday and Monday morning while staying at the campsite next to it. We would have gone Saturday too, but it wasn't open. The breakfasts we had were good. On Sunday we had the full breakfast with either haggis (good) or black pudding (great). The only drawback for me was my sausage was a bit under cooked and rubbery. Monday I had scrambled eggs and sausage. The service was a bit slower (we were the only ones there), but the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was lovely sitting in the warm as well, because the weather was very inclement all weekend. Nice toilets available, but not wheelchair accessible, though the restaurant is. Apart from being closed on Saturday, I'm not sure what the opening hours are as I didn't see them posted. Definitely worth a visit though.
One of the friendliest restaurants I have been to. The service was fantastic. The food delicious. The ingredients locally sourced as much as possible. Although the menu is limited, everything was moderately priced. If you are heading north via Lairg, do stop here for a bit and relax.
This was a lovely. Their pie was unbelievable and the desert was so nice i could have had seconds. This was most definatley the best place i have ate in a long time. Food to a high standard and staff were very good. If out this direction again this would be a must stop
What a hidden gem of a place! Turned out of a more chic looking cafe due to it being full (and perhaps also to us being in muddy cycle wear!) we decided to try this place, and were so happy we did. It is one of those roadside cafes you hear about in films - warm, cosy, hearty comfort food and run by friendly locals who regale you with the town's news. Highly recommend if you are passing through.
