What a view to wake up to! A wee bit remote, but if you're into that you'll love it. Spectacular setting and great friendly service

Lovely big house and made to feel very welcome. A bit off the beaten track so perfect to get away from it all. Beautiful views from the room and able to get out and explore easily. Great breakfast too, cooked to order. Would recommend if you like being in the middle of nowhere.

Steve and Jacqueline were very friendly hosts and provided us with a spacious, well decorated room with excellent en-suite facilities. They laid on a good breakfast in the morning. Our room had a sea view and we were entertained by wild deer and highland cattle from the window. The area is very beautiful and there are some great places to eat at nearby Lochinver.

I am so glad I booked Kirkaig Lodge B&B, as it was stunning and nothing on our way up north looked as inviting. Welcoming hosts, large and spotlessly clean room. It was the 3rd letting room on the other end of the building, which had no view to the loch and no Wi-fi - but we did not come here to just stay in the room and did survive without Wi-fi ;) If you can't live without though, there is a lovely guest lounge which provides both. Breakfast was continental, which made a nice change from the daily fry ups, and very sufficient.
The nearest restaurants are in Lochinver 3 miles away, so you can eat there before checking in, or take a short drive up. I am considering bringing some food for a picknick next time. And a book, so I can read at the Loch, which is only a 2 minute walk away - just like seen on the pictures.
Thank you Jacqueline for a great stay
