Warm, welcoming little restaurant. A place to have nice dinner or to just get a coup of coffee and chill. Would love to come here more often. I had seafood platter which was fresh and made to perfection. Compliments to the chef!! Staff (sorry, I didn't get his name) was kind, efficient and pleasant to talk to.

We rolled in right before closing. A hurried, “can you still serve us?!” Yes, of course - no problem. I had my first Cullen Skink here, and it was amazing! It hit the spot after wandering along the ocean in a cold, blustery wind. Only later did we discover that they were going to be closing that night and not running the usual dinner service. We were the two that were holding them back from an evening of freedom.(!) They then helped us out with or “grocery shopping” that led to an unforgettable dinner experience. They went above and beyond - such kindhearted and lovey people. Thanks so much! This place is a must-stop, not to be missed!

This place is a hidden gem! As one reviewer mentioned, this place serves quality over quantity. The menu is small, accommodates vegan friends and the food is simply delicious! They do not serve alcohol but they do make a home made lemonade with Mint or Ginger. My girlfriend had the langoustine dish and I chose the salmon with linguine. I have to say first... I'm not particularly a lover of pasta but the chef at The Whale Tale made it so delicious that I had to finish the lot. (I was also contemplating on asking them to make me the linguine on its own with the sauce for me to take away!) I couldn't take photos of our food as I was a little hungry...
