I had the best Tuna Steak ever here. I asked for it Medium Rare and it was cooked to perfection and tasted so fresh. I also shared the octopus salad with my friend and it was incredible. The service was friendly and attentive and the prices were reasonable. I’d highly recommend this place.

Enjoyed a great lunch at Aldeia da Fonte in Silveira Pico. Sat outside under beautiful vines in mid September. After lunch enjoy a leisurely walk around the property or walk down to the Rocky coast. Photo opportunity awaits you.

This place could be excellent. We liked the space. The service was slow and we don't care for it when they deliver bottled water and immediately pour it without request. The wine was delivered with the cork already removed. The fries and vegetables were from frozen. The steaks were, however, excellent... although the pepper steak lacked the expected whole peppercorns. ***I just added a star because after two weeks in the Azores these steaks stand out as the best.

Really bad, borderline disgusting food. The ‘sizzling shell fish’ platter (in picture) was neither sizzling nor had a single shell fish (clam) in it. The prawns had a really suspicious plasticky texture. I was almost sick after the meal here.

For four star hotel you definitely expect more from the restaurant then you've received. The service was really poor... 3 waitresses which not even where intrested in serving, just talking to each other, flirting with the other employee. I give one star for a guy which was delivering food, cutlery...etc. He was nice, kind and was doing his and others job, you could see that he was the only one working. Second star is the taste, not the quality of the food because the veggies were cooked from frozen, not good.. only the fish and the veal was good by its self... But really you do expect more.

Hidden in a beautiful garden, this restaurant is inside Aldeia da Fonte hotel but also serves outside clients, not only in house guests. Here you can try regional and local flavours such as octopus stewed in red wine, “molha de carne” (beef stew with cinnamon) and the adored grilled limpets. This being said, here you can sit back, relax and drink a glass of the many regional wines they have to offer. Insider tip: Friday evening a Chinese buffet is served.
