Beautiful setting on good side of Lake San Cristobal. Good sites for both RV and tents. Buy firewood in town as there is none on site. Very friendly camp host. The views are gorgeous and endless. The lake is good for kayaking, SUPs and fishing at the south end. Easy access to the Alpine Loop. Wish I could go back.

Great campground to get away! The campground has beautiful campsites that are close to the lake and the sites are well maintained. They have vault restrooms that aren’t cleaned often enough and you can get some nasty wafts of sewage if anyone opens the door. Still a wonderful place to camp if you aren’t looking to go Glamping.

Went there Friday afternoon, there was a few empty spots. I have a handicap sign and was looking for the ADA ones. Both was taken. One by a young family with young kids who told me they are not handicap but it's first come first serve. The other one was reserved by some sleeping bags on the table. Camp host is gone. The sign said returning after 6PM, it was about 3PM only. Friday afternoon when it's the busiest. I don't understand why there are no clear signs for ADA sites saying that those are for handicap maybe until all sorts are fine? What's the purpose of the big handicap sign when nobody cares? I left the park very disappointed. This should be fixed.

Camp hosts are awesome. Sites 27-31 have gorgeous lake front views. Just get there early in the summer as it is first come first serve no reservations!

We kept reading about first come first serve.....well that is not true, apparently you can go and reserve a spot. If you talk to the right people. So dont count on getting a spot. Yes it is beautiful.

Definitely one of the best views ever! Camp host is very friendly and helpful. He sells huge bundles of firewood with firestarter for 5. Definitely going back!

Several nice camp sites overlooking Lake San Christobal. Unfortunately, some of the sites are oddly situated on top of one another making for a needlessly awkward situation. Site 10 specifically.
