This was my second year coming to King Phillips in the Fall. I was so impressed by the campground last year I booked again for this year and it did not disappoint. The grounds are well kept, the tent sites are a great size with beautiful trees, it’s quiet, and so close to Lake George! The staff is friendly and helpful, the hostess is always ready to give help if you need suggestions about places to hike or sight-see. The bathrooms and showers are kept so clean!! Don does a thorough job and was so friendly when I spoke with him. Thanks for a great week! I will be back!

Great quote and shady campground. We stayed at M4 and it was a tight squeeze had to try few times to get a nice leveled spot and we have 34ft long. It was nice and quite as well. Yes The pool was great addition. Laundry is closed during the week and opens on Thursday-Sunday. Trolly is right in Rt 9 which will take you right to town 1 dollar one way. Magic Kingdom is right next door and highly recommend it during the week less packed but Friday-Sunday packed Had friends staying under tents at W18-W16 also were happy. I will come back again. Less packed and price is reasonable Overall great place

This was our second visit to Lake George and to this campground. Both times we had a perfect camping experience. We stayed 3 days the first time and 5 full days the next. Very clean, convenient access to major highways, scenic bike trails, 2 miles away from Lake George and very friendly people. You can tell the people who own this place take really good care of it and Don does a really good job making sure the restrooms stay clean, which we really appreciated. Most sites come with water and electric and there is a laundromat and an arcade. All of it is very helpful. We recommend wholeheartedly and this place will remain top of mind when we visit again.

We don't do a lot at campgrounds, but we really like this one. The sites are good sized, the hookups are nice, and the campground is beautiful and well kept. The staff is also very nice. And the campground is very close to Lake George. Recommended!

We booked in the month of busy season which is mid of August 19 to 21. Actually I was looking for house rent for 3 family near Lake George area. However it was last minute, there is nothing available at that time so I searched for campground and King Phillips campground came at the top of the list. Best part is we can camp near each other. We arrived at the reception there is a gentleman, checked us in. We brought bunch of ice and other stuff for the camping so heavy to bring all the way to the camp. There is 5 mins walk Dollar Store has everything we need and camp also has a small store at front office, they have ice, cold drinks and special discount on fire woods. Also you get special discount on Six Flags great escape tickets. Bathrooms and playground for kids are little far from our camp site, which would be nice if we get near by. Because there is big light and kids can go to bathroom easily. Overall we have great family time here and learn few things to do ahead of time. Lake George is 8 Mins drive, convenient to reach all the popular spots. There is trolley that comes very often and charge 1 dollar to take you Lake George other other popular place in Queensbury.

It use to be a nice place to visit! On a recent visit I had reservation for a certain spot that I’ve stayed in before I was assured that the spot was available no problem, when I got there I was told that the spot was not available and that I should have mentioned that I don’t want to spot to be given away, what? I asked for the owner to please call me so we I can ask him why this happened and as of 2 weeks later I still have not receive a call or email nothing, staff was very unprofessional and not caring at all they have an attitude when you have to ask for anything NOT good business!

Very nice campsites spaced well and lots of trees between. Facilities and pool very clean and well kept, pool and playgrounds clean and safe. Staff was very friendly and helpful located just a few miles away from lake George attractions as well as many other activities near by.

Not really sure why when trying to reserve a stay sites available can't be given over the phone. I was told the site will be given on arrival. I have stayed here before and was able to pick a site based off of what was available. This time I was told by the manager that "company policy is to give sites on arrival" but this wasn't followed the last couple times I stayed here. It certainly would be nice to be able to pick your site from what's available. I like the campground and how close it is to the bike path and the village. Hopefully company policy could be reconsidered to make it a better experience.
