We had the MOST FUN photographing a wedding on the Horicon Boat this summer on Lake George. The Captain was awesome, guests had a phenomenal time, and the views were amazing. Wonderful and unique wedding venue!

Great experience for our family (2 adults, 2yr old and 10 month old) on the Horicon for the 1-hr tour in late September. Friendly and quick service at the counter. The ship was clean and appeared well maintained. The crew was welcoming and friendly. 1hr duration was perfect for our little ones. Definitely recommend.
We booked a cruise online and arrived 20 minutes before sail time. No one from the cruise line showed up. I called and emailed with no response so we left. I received a “Thank you for sailing” email the next day. I wrote again asking for a refund. They quickly responded with a refund- no explanation or apology.
LG Shoreline Cruises have always been a great experience. I cannot understand the reviews being left here. The crew is always extremely friendly and the captain was funny. It was great to be able to bring our dog on the Horicon. I highly recommend the happy hour cruise.
WARNING. Their \hand sanitizers\ DO NOT have alcohol, will just accumulate germs, do not use them. Ticket booth lady tried to scam me. Total for 4 adults and 1 kid for 2 hour boat tour was around 120 without discounts. I looked up Groupon and showed her it was around 75 for 4 plus a 14 regular kids ticket which is around 90. That's a 30 savings. She said it was cheaper to not do Groupon, which was not true (90 is less than 120, basic elementary school math). Strike 1. When questioned she then said our boat was leaving so we couldn't do Groupon because it takes time to process. I've used Groupon many times before and it takes barely anytime to process. Strike 2. 80% of the boat tour is spent sitting on the boat and listening to blaring Sirius XM music (not even instrumental ambient music), quite distracting and a complete disservice to the natural beauty of the lake. Strike 3. Ice pops were advertised as 1.50 but were 2 in the system, luckily the staff was aware of the issue and was very friendly. All of that said, the 20% of the trip that there was any sort of actual dialogue was quite interesting, some little known facts and history about Lake George. I do wish there was more about the lake itself or the surrounding area or wildlife, almost all the facts were about the buildings on shore. Waving to the passing boats is fun, nice on a beautiful day. All in all, I'd save your money and find a better rated tour.
