Tried to charge me 500 for a return that turbo tax could file for 140. I was mocked and publicly humiliated. My finances were discussed out loud in front of other customers. My paperwork kept hostage as they refused to return my tax forms to me due to me refusing to pay such a high price. Talked me down for attempting to shop around and consider my filing options across different tax preparation services. Corporate H&R block didn't address my grievances and somehow closed my case without ever getting back to me. My representative was Maza. Oh and the cherry on top I caught 3 mistakes in my return which would have led to Tax Fraud with the IRS due to lack of reporting 1099 and Schedule K gains properly. H&R has lost a customer forever.
