Pastor David along with the rest of the Lake Park Lutheran Church congregation has always been like family. It’s where my journey towards having a spiritual relationship with my Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ all began. I remember the first time I stepped foot into Lake Park Lutheran Church. I was in 4th Grade, and it was on a bright sunny day. I came by myself, and I joined the crowd that was parading in to the Church for morning worship. Even at a young age, I remember being drawn into Pastor David’s sermon. I remember telling mother about going to Church, and informing her about what I had learned that day. Eventually my Mother, and Grandmother began to tag along, and soon it became our home to congregate and worship with our Lake Park family. So many memories...such as going to Camp Lutherdale every summer, being apart of Pastor David’s first youth group, his first confirmation class, and his first high school youth group. My wedding was at this church, and also the baptism of my two beautiful daughters were also at this Church. Thank you Pastor David for all the wonderful memories. Lake Park Lutheran Church will always be a place I call Home!
