Extremely dishonest liar. Terrible customer service. Called him to make sure my special order piece was completed for a Christmas gift and verified the price is the same as we decided on. Drove 3 1/2 hrs from Tampa to have him try and charge me double because he said he didn't appreciate my call to check on the price. Do yourself a favor and don't even walk in this place of business, it's anything but a business!

Wonderful family owned business with a very friendly staff. I had several pieces worked on here; three rings sized, a necklace adjusted, and a new head placed on my engagement ring. The owner was so thoughtful he brought me behind the counter to watch him remove my diamond and had me take it home with me while he worked on the setting. My diamond was set beautifully and my wedding set came out looking brand new. I felt comfortable and welcomed and found the owners to be trustworthy and kind. I am a repeat customer and and highly recommend them.
l took a diamond ring in to have the diamond set in a necklace instead of the simple bail that it had, when l picked up the necklace it was set ok but he did not give me the setting for the ring back. l had to go back and ask for it . l call that theft! a second visit l went in to have about half a dozen pieces looked at for safety of the settings....l wear jewelry everyday and l wanted to make sure they were still safe. when l picked them up my wedding ring was missing.... again l had to go back and get it... truly what l can l say to this! l would not go back to them for anything.... l already had the experience with another jeweler thief in wellington so l am outraged that l went from 1 to another

DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!!! Owner, John Brand, left his own review of himself on Google, which is all lies. I am a true customer that had the worst treatment of customer service ever in my life. He ruined my wedding ring. RUINED IT! First John set my diamond slanted and he and his wife both played dumb like they didn't see it. And he snatched it out of my hand without saying a single word to me and took it to the back of the store to "fix". He made it WORSE!!! He cut the top of one of my prongs off so it's a completely different size then the rest and is completely loose in the setting. When I pointed it out, John once again said he didn't see what I was talking about, threw my rings at me, threw his hands up and walked away saying "Good luck. I don't have time for his s*&!." I'm so embarrassed I even walked into this place. And so completely broken hearted my ring repair needs repairing. Shameful disgusting, degrading, rude service. Never ever ever again will I return and I BEG all those whom are looking for a good jeweler to go elsewhere. Because JJ Brand is a disgrace to their craft.
If you want to be treated like you are worthless than visit this is jeweler. We had a bracelet repaired and had our daughter drop it off. When my wife came to pick it up they treated her terribly and when I tried to go to the store and find out why they have treated her so badly and retrieve the bracelet myself the owner of the store promptly came out and called me an "A hole" and asked me to get out of his store. I told him it was a shame because my wife and I spend a lot of money on jewelry he said he doesn't want our money. As we were leaving a business owner in that plaza said he wasn't surprised as he would never recommend them. He recommends Barrie's jewelry store down the street. Says that that J&J does not have a good reputation.
I went to another jeweler originally to have a battery put into one of my Movado watches. when i got it back, i could not work the crown and it had terrible tool marks on the back where they were trying to pry it apart. i came in to JJ Brand and he immediately knew what was wrong and corrected it, for free. he then offered to clean and polish out the tool marks for me, i accepted the offer and picked my watch up a few days later. it was beautiful, and working. so beautiful in fact, that i gave him the watch i was currently wearing and asked if he could perform the same cleanup. I'm so happy that i found this place. other places i used to have my watches cleaned at would charge twice as much and do half the job. i will be bringing all my jewelry needs to these folks from now on.
