If I could I’d give this place a negative star or no stars, but if that were the case then I wouldn’t be able to write this post!! Most unprofessional psychiatric center ever! Beware of Sheri (the psychiatrist)! I went there since I had an appointment. They NEVER saw me, so I decided to leave since they were extremely rude! Not just rude, but racist and discriminating. Also, when we asked for a translator Sherri said that they didn’t have to look for a translator (note, she said that very rudely) because they have two psychiatrists that spoke Spanish who could attend me. Those two psychiatrists attended me before and they were extremely rude and one of them (Dr. Cook) even got to the point of saying that “I’m fat because I eat too much” what she was basically saying is that I spend my life swallowing my food as if I was some sort of pig and she said that with literally no filter as if she knows my daily routine. Also, Dr. Cook said that what I need is to start working that way I’d stop being depressed knowing very well that I stopped working because I have so much pain every single day. When I didn’t have a translator before, they provided one and I have taken my daughter and they said nothing at about her translator. When we were about to leave the receptionist asked me if I was going to make an appointment with one of the Spanish speaking psychiatrists and my sister explained to the receptionist what happened with the Spanish speaking psychiatrists and the receptionist told my sister who is my translator that her English “wasn’t good anyway.” Never go here. They are fantastic! Sherri is very kind and compassionate, she really listed to my problem and worked with me to help find the best solution for me..instead of treating me like a number or just another crazy person.. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for help in a crisis! Thanks again Sherri , keep up the excellent work

My wife has been here in less than 4 months the change was like day and evening shes definitely going to continue treatment I think she said sherry was her doctor and she loves her.

Amazing doctor and staff very understanding and kind. Sherri takes the time to explain everything and she LISTENS AND CARES. I went to peace river for them to baker act me over ppd and ocd like it was 1930. All I needed was a caring doctor. As far as the past review take it with a grain of salt people will only complain about what they think is worth complaining about but no one takes the time to put up a good experience when they have them. They’re not racist Anytime I’ve been in that office I’ve seen people of all ethnicities they even hired a bilingual psychiatrist who is not Sherri (my doc) can’t say it enough Sherri is wonderful. (Edit) if you look at their website it tells you all about their doctors and Sherry has an extraordinary background and that completely explains why is she so compassionate and caring she was actually a nurse in New York City during 9/11. So anyone reading reviews on the facility go to their website and there’s detailed information on all of their ARNPS and Doctors .
