The food is lovely. Best to go on the deal days. Service is good but waited a while for our drinks and was disappointed others who stayed at the bar got served before us.

Excellent food and excellent service. Also a reasonable guarantee of peace and quiet. Rather expensive but you pay for the quiet and ambience. Very good food flavours and choices.

My wife and I visited the restaurant on the second anniversary of our wedding which we had at this same venue. Staff members recognised us and spoke with us about our wedding and future plans. Also spoilt us with personalised desserts and confetti on the table. Wonderful staff and excellent food.
Excellent Lunch with friends at Lakes Restaurant / Hemstead House /Bapchild - Kent...all three courses were amazing, staff friendly and helpful!
