Lakeshore is a lovely place to live if you want peace and quiet, lake views, beautiful sunsets, birds galore, lots of friendly dogs around, and competent staff. The buildings are beginning to show their age but the staff is always available and on it when something goes wrong. The landscaping is just beautiful. You often see the association manager walking the grounds with her puppy making sure everything's just so. It's a warm and inviting place to live - especially for those who have downsized to a smaller, gentler lifestyle.

The construction is fairly standard as far as stick built product goes. I bought a unit because I believe in the community, the amenities and the future for this location. I love the third floor units because you have no issues with tenants above you.I live in a SF home in the Village and can walk to about 10 restaurants, banks, a Giant grocery store, cleaners, two pubs, and car repair, just about all you need. The trails, the mile plus walk around the lake, the Pavilion (a full gym) and easy access to the W&OD trail all this plus the 4 pools and 6 ponds makes it a great place to live.In the 5 year future, the Metro will stop in Ashburn. This is a great place to live!
