True bible preaching/teaching church.
Was led to Lakeside 16 years ago,, and have never left. It has become a major part of my life. May you too be so blessed as to find such a wonderful gathering place to join in the corporate worship of our lord Jesus. And if led, may Lakeside become that place for you too. There are very specific activities of all ages, for families and for individuals, that build into strong relationship one with another in the most joyous manner. And yes, the teaching of the awesome power and the glory of our Lord is a defining factor of this local body of Christ.
I have been attending Lakeside for a year now and the Lord has blessed me through their ministry profoundly. The teaching is nothing but the Word of God in context. Solid food is served every Sunday from the pulpit. The people have counseled/discipled & edified me throughout my time. With any church one has to do their part to get involved and reach out but once you do they are faithful to come along side you in the race we all are running together for the glory of God.
Pastors and most of congregation are arrogant and condescending. They have a \my way or the highway\ approach to theology. Every time I ever mentioned any disagreement with another member of the congregation they would say something that implies my disagreement was due to not being educated enough, as if there's no possible way to have a legitimate disagreement. I decided to call it quits after I got tired of having my intelligence insulted.
