Wasn't impressed with the the simplest of Foods they served.

Great looking restaurant in a wonderful part of town. Easy to spot. Ample parking, including extra for those unfortunate to be handicap. Staff was phenomenal, really. Food was good. Prices were even better. I didn't try any but, candied bacon?! Bob Evans wins for franchise of the year.
I came in with my grandma. I would rate this 100 if I could. The waitress Dolly was the best waitress I've met. She is wonderful. I recommend coming here and requesting Dolly to be your waitress.
Reliable, predictable, but I really like that. This is diner food, plain and simple. Nothing fancy, but everything is fresh and reasonably well prepared, and priced accordingly. Service is always friendly and accommodating.
The quality of breakfast is really low compared to other breakfast franchises. The waitress left a trail of coffee on the table after my refill. And the overall service felt unwelcoming. The only saving grace was the slice of double crust apple pie I had after the nasty breakfast. Furthermore, I asked for my breakfast steak to be well done and they got me rare. Can’t even get the orders right.
I ordered food to pick up for my brother. I delivered the food to my brother and part of the order was missing. I called Bob Evans and the guy who answered the phone asked for my address so they could send me a gift certificate. A month went by so i followed up and spoke with the manager, Robert. He told me that they just sent it out so it should be arriving soon. 3 months later and still no gift certificate. UPDATE : Nov. 20th. I received gift cards and a very nice apologetic letter from the manager, Robert. I appreciate them honoring there word and sending a letter and gift cards. I'm upgrading my 1 star rating to a 4 star.
Very disappointed. Bob Evans has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. I go there for breakfast a couple of times a month and the food and service is always excellent. But tonight was one of the worse dinning experiences in a long time. My wife ordered a salad with no cheese or croutons. When it came it was covered in cheese and croutons. I ordered a turkey dinner with chicken gravy. It came with country gravy and it took way too long to get there. It was not busy at all and it took over a half hour to arrive. I was drinking sweet tea and asked for a refill. The server brought me unsweetened tea. I've been in retail management for over 34 years. This is just not acceptable. One mistake I can understand, but the entire meal was a disaster. The Assistant Manager offered a discount after I told him, and did take off my turkey dinner at checkout. I didn't ask for a discount or to have my meal for free. He gave me excuses about meatloaf and something about the regular server having car stolen or something like that. First of all, I don't need to know any of this and as a customer and I really don't care about that. I've never made excuses for something that either I or my employees do. I just apologize and take care of the customer. I will not come there again for dinner. And I will let my friends know about my experience.
The best experience that I have ever had at Bob Evans, bar none! The food was good and the waitress was amazing! Excellent service! I reccomend the salted caramel mocha, its better than at any coffee shop.
